2021 Award Winners

  • Main Josephine Butler Award 2022 (£5,000)

    Winner: Micah Liverpool

    The award was given for Micah Liverpool’s creative work on anti-poverty strategy, primarily via the well-established work of the Foodbank based at St Brides and St. Vincent’s in Liverpool city centre.

    The award was accepted by Paul O’Brien (Executive Director of Micah).

  • Josephine Butler Women of the Year 2022 (£1,000)

    Winner: Marion Pope

    The award was given to Marion for her groundbreaking work in Liverpool Diocese in the 2000s on domestic abuse awareness and her current national role with the Mothers’ Union

  • Josephine Butler Fellowship 2022 (£1,000 for international travel)

    Winner: Jen Williams

    The award was made in recognition of Jen’s creative volunteer work on raising awareness on human trafficking and domestic abuse in the Diocese of Liverpool.
